On May 26th and 27th, the Ilkhom Theatre will premiere "The Tin Drum" - a production based on Nobel prize laureaute, and German writer Günter Grass' novel, which brought him world fame. The movie with the same title won numerous prizes, some of which include an Oscar, and a Palme d'Or. "The Tin Drum" is a diary of a young boy named Oscar who became disillusioned in the life of adults and decided he would refuse to grow up. (more…)

“CASTLE. K.”

Franz Kafka's unfinished novel entitled "Castle", is considered to be one of the most prominent and mysterious works of 20th century world literature. The book was first published in 1926 after the death of its creator, as did two of Kafka's other major works - "Process" and "America". "Castle" remained unfinished, leaving numerous questions unanswered: Is it a Castle or a Lock to which no one has yet found a key? The main character in the novel appears in an unnamed, geographically obscure village, and attempts to get inside the Castle with no luck. (more…)

27 февраля в 18:30 – проект «Литера» Третья встреча с участниками проекта «Литера» будет посвящена истории трех домов, расположенных в сердце Ташкента. Это дом архитекторов, дом литераторов и дом актеров. Мы представим оригинальный взгляд на историю города – знакомую и незнакомую, в масштабе трех домов, в которых встречались люди, создавались творческие проекты, писались стихи. Александр Файнберг, Марк Вайль, Тамара Ханум, Бернара Кариева, Андрей Бородин, Юрий Халдеев, Абдулла Бабаханов, Зоя Туманова, Абдулла Арипов, Галина Шувалова, Тимур Пулатов, Вахаб Рузметов, Изя Якубов – вот далеко неполный список жителей этих легендарных домов. Вас ждут явления и факты, легенды и воспоминания очевидцев о личной и общественной жизни, жителей на первый взгляд самых обычных домов города. Проза жизни и … конечно же поэзия. В программе вечера прозвучит поэзия Александра Файнберга, Зои Тумановой и Абдуллы Арипова, а также произведения современных ташкентских авторов: Вики Осадченко, Баха Ахмедова, Олеси Цай, Фархада Юнусова, Николая Ильина и Миртемира и Александра Колмогорова. В проекте заняты актеры театра «Ильхом»: Алексей Писцов, Ян Добрынин, Анастасия Прядкина, Юлия Плакида, Тимур Нартаджиев В программе вечера используются фрагменты фильма Джасура Исхакова "Александр Файнберг"

4го марта гостем проекта "IlkhomJazzClub" станет Канадский композитор и пианист Дэвид Брейд (David Braid). Дэвид считается одним из представителей современного возрождения своей страны, когда речь заходит о музыке. После окончания Университета Торонто в 1998 году, Дэвид посвятил себя карьере исполнения авторской музыки. Через год он образовал «Секстет Дэвида Брейда». Несмотря на то, что Брейд завоевал репутацию одного из самых знаменитых джазовых артистов в стране, он начал двигаться в другом направлении с альбомом сольных фортепианных авторских композиций под названием «Verge». Этот альбом стал поворотным в жизни Дэвида, и в 2011 году он получил премию Juno за альбом традиционной джазовой музыки года. В 2014 году Брейд стал представителем Симфонического Оркестра Великобритании. Летом 2015 года он гастролировал с группой по Великобритании и Канаде в рамках проекта, финансируемого Художественным Советом Англии / Национальной лотереей и Университетом Халл.
