The “Ilkhom” Theater of Mark Weil and IlkhomJazzClub represent the Evgeny Pobozhiy Quartet.
On November 22nd at 18:30 on the stage of the theater will perform guitarist and composer Evgeny Pobozhy – he is the first Russian musician who was declared the winner of the 2019 Herbie Hancock International Jazz Competition, one of the most highly respected competitions in the world of jazz. Our “Ilkhom fellow” (since there are no ex-“Ilkhom fellow”) actor Mark Sorsky came up with a wonderful initiative to create a book together, an almanac of memories about our Master – Mark Yakovlevich.
On January twenty-fifth, 2022, Mark Weil would have turned seventy years old. And publishing such a book would be the best gift from all of us.

“LYUDKA”. ABOUT THE OPENING NIGHT OF ONE OF THE MOST EXPECTED PERFORMANCES AT THE “ILKHOM” THEATER.
The opening night of the play by French director Antoine Gindt’s “Lyudka” took place on the stage of the “Ilkhom” Theater. The focus of the play is about a common family with a simple life and complicated relationships, consisting of three people who have the same names, the name that has become a kind of symbol of this play. “DILFIZO AND DONADA”
On October 23, at 2 p.m., the “Ilkhom” Theater will host a screening of the play by Kazakh playwright Olga Malysheva “Dilfizo and Donada” in an unusual format of a theatrical puzzle.
What is the play about?
“Dilfizo and Donada” is the story of two women; one of them is from medieval Central Europe, the other one from modern Central Asia. (more…)

OPENING OF THE PERSONAL EXHIBITION BY MOKHIRA MULLYAJANOVA
On October 16, at 17:30, the “Ilkhom” Theater of Mark Weil will host the opening of the personal exhibition of the artist, illustrator, and graphic designer Mokhira Mullyajanova’s “Beloved City”.
Mokhira Mullyajanova was born in 1993 in Tashkent. Since the seventh grade, she has been engaged in academic drawing, attended Saira Tashpulatovna Keltayeva’s private lessons.
After graduating from the Lyceum, she took a course in art and design at Central Saint Martins College in London. In 2016, she received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Taylor’s University (Kuala Lumpur). (more…)
