The «Action» Prize was presented to the «Ilkhom» Theater on 15 June, in Moscow

A ceremony of the presentation of the Prize on support of theater initiatives of the Culture and Art Council under the President of the Russian Federation took place on 15 June, in Moscow.
An organization committee consisted of: Evgeniy Mironov, actor; Roman Dolzhanskiy, critic; Kiril Serebrennikov, director; Theodore Kurentiz, conductor; Chulpan Khamatova, actress; Andrey Uraev, a representative of the «Aegis» Cultural Fund; Helen Nosova, coordinator. The members of the committee were guided only by their own predilections while choosing the laureates.
Among projects supported by the «Action» Prize were: the International Competition of Dramatists «EuroAsia» (N. Kolyada), the Festival of Art «Fascinating Worlds» of the aboriginal minor people of North, Siberia and Far East of Russian Federation, the Russian Engineering Theater «AXE» (St. Petersburg) and the Laboratory of Young Directors of Central Asia and Kazakhstan under the «Ilkhom» theater.
The Prize was presented to the artistic director of the theater, Mark Weil.
The Prize to Mark Weil was presented by ageless actress of the Russian Federation, Lyudmila Maksakova.
