23-27 March 2008: The 1st Festival of the actor’s song / The 1st Kurkmas Mukhitdinov Contest of the actor’s song

23 March – The Opening of the Festival: a solo concert of Olga Volodina, the Honored artist of Uzbekistan
24 March – A solo concert of Georgiy Dmitriev, the Grand Prix laureate of the IX Andrey Mironov’s contest of the actor’s song
25 March – The Opening of the 1st Kurkmas Mukhitdinov Contest of the actor’s song. The sortition. The 1st round of the contest.
26 March – The 2nd round of the contest.
27 March – The International Day of Theater. The closing ceremony of the Festival: a gala concert of laureates and participants of the Festival.
Students of theater schools and institutes of higher education studying on speciality of “Actor of theater and cinema» and actors of drama theaters in Tashkent are welcome to participate in the contest.
The winner of the contest Grand Prix will be awarded a trip to Moscow for participation in the X Andrey Mironov’s contest of the actor’s song, which will take place in 2009.
Terms of the Contest
1.1 Students of theater schools and institutes of higher education studying on speciality of “Actor of theater and cinema» at present and actors of drama theaters in Tashkent can participate in the contest.
1.2 The contest consists of two selection tours and a gala concert. All auditions are open for public. The sequence of performance of participants is determined by a sortition and kept till the completion of the contest.
1.3 Participant shall submit all documents before 15 March 2008 in accordance with the documents list below to the following address: Sergey Esenin’s museum, Lev Tolstoy Street, tupik (dead-end) ¹ 20, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Contact phone: 237 11 79.
List of documents necessary for participation in the contest
2.1 A copy of the passport or birth certificate.
2.2 A certificate confirming that at present a participant is a student of a theater school or an institute of higher education studying on speciality of «Actor of theater and cinema» or a certificate from the place of work confirming that at present a participant is an actor of a drama theater in Tashkent.
2.3 Autobiography.
2.4 One photo (15õ20 cm), two photos of passport size.
2.5 An application form will be given to a participant while submitting the documents to the organizational committee of the contest.

Note:
A. Each song may be performed only in one round.
B. A sequence of a program performance is at free will of participants.
C. Laureates and winners of the contest are obliged to take part in a gala concert.
D. It is allowed to use a phonogram (minus), while performing, or own accompanist. If necessary an accompanist may be provided by the organizational committee.
