There is «The Ilkhom Prize-2007» has been instituted in the Ilkhom Theater. This year the Prize is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of our Theater.
The following nominations will be awarded: 1. The Best Project of the Year 2. The Best Actor of the Year 3. The Best Actress of the Year 4. The Best Debut of the Year 5. The Best Works in the Mass Media of the Ilkhom Actors.
This year the Prize will be awarded to actors and projects of the Ilkhom Theater. In the future we hope that this Prize will step over the bounds of our Theater troupe and will become recognized in the world of the Uzbekistan Art.

On 21-24 February 2007 – II INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MUSIC &
VISUAL ARTS «BLACK BOX»
Within the framework of the II International Festival «Black Box» there will be presented for the first time in Uzbekistan: - Richard Reinfosh with the author’s concert (Netherlands); - A light performance by Stepan Nikolishin (Uzbekistan) on music by Peter Adriance (USA/Netherlands). The main hero of the performance is the Light; - Concerto grosso ¹1 by Alfred Schnittke performing by «Turkiston» Chamber Orchestra and Omnibus Ensemble; - A unique staging of «Radio 1» play written by Samuel Beckett.
Also, the performance «Ecstasy with the Pomegranate» by Mark Weil and Dmitriy Tikhomirov will be presented.

DECEMBER 24, 2006- CHRISTMAS CONCERT!
Presented by the Germany embassy in Uzbekistan A one time only concert in collaboration with German conductor Pera-Dominik Ponnelli and the Omnibus ensamble! The Omnibus ensamble and the Ilkhom Theatre present a Christmas concert. For the first time in Uzbekistan a unique piece of world music culture «Songs of Winter» by Gustav Maler.
The statement of the history in Uzbekistan and Germany. For the 3rd time starting from 2005, German organizations invite everyone interested for a project week «The history and the self-consciousness».
The German Service of the Academic Exchange (DAAD), the Representative Office of the German National Universities Association (dvv international), the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the Gerda Henkel Foundation and the Goethe Institut Taschkent together with German and Uzbek experts, students and general interested public will continue a dialogue about the modern history and its impact on personal, cultural and national self-consciousness by this project week.
Exactly in Germany with its history of the 20th century, which was rich in crucial moments, different methods in statement of its own history to schoolchildren, students, adults, scientists and general amateurs have been worked out last decades to enable them to perceive objectively the modern history in different levels. A professional exchange between German and Uzbek experiences of the history statement will take place.
On 28 March 2007, evening, after «Flights of Mashrab» performance, a public discussion on the subject of «To Learn from the History?» will take place in the Ilkhom Theater («The Statement of the History through Theater»). The discussion will be held with the participation of the German and Uzbek experts, and all spectators interested.
13 February – 1 April. A personal exhibition of Rustam Bazarov
At the 2nd personal exhibition of the painter and monumentalist, Rustam Bazarov, there will be exhibited some 60 canvas painted by him during last ten years. His paintings are a story about our city, its people, nice genre sketches on Tashkent streets neighbor with an ironic view on the contemporary way of life and its inhabitants.
We invite all lovers of the art to visit this exhibition.

11, 12 and 13 January 2008 – THE BEST STAGE IMPROMTU
The project of our theater «Stage impromptu» of different countries of the world initially has been planed in the form of exclusive evenings, which would be hold only one time and never repeated again. This condition has always made a certain mood both for actors and spectators: to watch and listen to texts of modern plays, both already popular in Europe and absolutely new, the only one time. But, popularity of the project and, what was more important, exclusive evenings, which spectators loved so much… it was a pity to part with it forever. That is why we decided to repeat some of such evenings. Thus, as a present for the Old New Year :-) for the second and last time on our stage: 11 January 2008 – «Some Explicit Polaroids» by Mark Ravenhill (Great Britain) 12 January 2008 – «On the Sunny Side of the Street» by Dina Rubina (Israel – Tashkent) 13 January 2008 – «Synchron» by Thomas Hurlimann (Switzerland)
16 October – THE MEMORIAL DAY OF MARK WEIL
On 16 October, at 12:50 (Tashkent time) – in the Memorial Day of Mark Weil, who was murdered 40 days ago – the Moscow TV channel «Culture» will broadcast a TV version of the production «White, White, Black Stork» by A. Kadyri shot in Moscow, at The Meyerhold Center (April 2006) in remembrance of our Master.

Today the name of Ibrahim Valihodjaev is among of the most interesting and well-known artists of Uzbekistan. The organization of the exhibition was supported by «Caravan» Art-gallery.

Works of a young artist, a painter, Takhir Karimov promises to become a beginning of a new legend... Similar to this they expect something excellent, but vaguely familiar. In his paintings there is a certain charm of the eastern love legends. These paintings promise a glaring and chaste love.
The atmosphere of «Tortilla…» is made of Time and Space of Love. Of Time, sometimes as slow as a summer day, and sometimes rushing headlong from the Monterey Hill. Of Love which happens here to all every once in a while; and which gives that mystically magnetic power to Danny and his House. This is performance about Danny, about the House and their friends, amigos. Amigos… They sing while happy. They sing while sad. They sing when they cannot help singing – their hearts are overflowed with feelings. Boozers but philosophers! That is why happens that is without even knowing it, they challenge their fate and come into conflict Freedom and Time as they slip away.
